Accessibility Policy

Last Modified: July 9, 2026

Overview

Digital Canal is committed to ensuring the accessibility of electronic and information technology resources used by our customers, partners, and the general public. This commitment supports our mission of providing high‑quality building, engineering, estimating, and project‑management software, and is maintained in accordance with applicable federal and state accessibility laws.

“Accessible” means that individuals with disabilities can independently acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same services within the same timeframe as individuals without disabilities, with substantially equivalent ease of use.

Scope

This policy applies to all electronic and information technology used by this website. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing workflows, browsing experiences, downloadable materials, and online forms.

This policy also applies to materials hosted or provided by Digital Canal or by third parties whenever those materials are used as part of Digital Canal’s official products, services, or communications.

Policy statements

Digital Canal’s goal is to achieve accessibility proactively rather than reactively. While timely accommodation will always be provided when accessibility is not achieved, an accommodation‑only approach is insufficient under this policy.

Digital Canal will maintain processes for evaluating accessibility and will oversee coordination and implementation of this policy. Digital Canal will publish and maintain technical standards for implementing IT accessibility, including standards for web‑based content, digital documents, software interfaces, and other electronic information systems.

Exceptions to this policy may be granted only when full compliance would impose an undue burden; when an accessible format would fundamentally alter the nature of a program, service, or activity; or when no accessible version of the materials exists. All exceptions must be documented and approved.

Standards

This website conforms to, and will continue to implement, the WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

All customers, users, and maintainers of this website are subject to this policy and share responsibility for supporting accessibility.

Individuals responsible for the design, development, management, and maintenance of this website must incorporate accessibility considerations throughout all phases of the software lifecycle.

Resources

Digital Canal will develop and maintain processes to periodically assess the accessibility of this website. Assessment results will be shared with appropriate personnel, and site owners will be responsible for addressing identified issues in a timely manner.

Enforcement

Address any accessibility-related complaints to us at info@digitalcanal.com.

As part of the complaint process, remediation may include temporary removal of non‑compliant resources until they meet the requirements of this policy.

Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed on a regular schedule, with updates or modifications made as needed to maintain compliance and reflect evolving accessibility standards.
