StrucPro is available for AutoCAD 14, 2000, 2002, 2004,
2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Using StrucPro is similar to using a library of
AutoCAD blocks; however, StrucPro’s parametric capabilities provide the user
much more speed, power and flexibility. When you use AutoCAD blocks in a
structural drawing you must search and find a suitable block to modify,
import the block; modify the block to conform to the current design, etc.
With StrucPro this process is simple because
the detail is parametrically defined up front by answering a few simple
questions. This process the automatically customizes the details to your
exact needs, eliminating much of the additional time spent modifying generic
AutoCAD blocks.

This menu also contains macros for creating drawing labels, callouts, notes
and symbols as well as a number of tools to assist in geometry generation
such as copy with rotation, move with rotation and multiple copy.

handrails, cleats, and bracing gussets.
Detailer:
The commands in
this menu are geared toward the production of shop drawings for beams,
girders, columns, rafters, bracing, tubes, angles, stairs, ladders and
handrails. It is also used to generate material leaders and lists.
Material Management:
A very important function of StrucPro is its material management system. The
system is simple and very effective. As you draw details with StrucPro, you
will be prompted to insert material leaders. The leaders are attributed
blocks that store information about what they are pointing to. When the Bill
of Material command is run, StrucPro automatically searches the drawing for
material leaders and extracts their data. StrucPro then uses this data to
automatically create your Bill of Materials. Due to the system’s simplicity,
the material leaders can be placed on anything in the drawing—allowing you t
add any piece to the Bill of Materials at any time. StrucPro also provides
and automatic Field Bolt utility that works in much the same way.
