Features
- New Automatic Roofs – With new roof intelligence added to SolidBuilder,
SolidBuilder is capable of generating much more complex roofs automatically
based off of a roof footprint.
- Automatic Floor Plans– SolidBuilder now
generates quick automatic floor plans off your model. These floor plans
automatically display exterior dimensions, openings, and opening labels.
This feature is ideal for preliminary drawings.
- Automatic Elevations – SolidBuilder generates automatic elevations off your model. These
elevations will display your exterior walls, openings, foundation walls,
footers, and roof as well as dimensioned wall heights and roof slope.
- Right Click Gable – Easily change hipped roofs to gables. Simply right
click on a hipped roof you wish to change into a gable and SolidBuilder
automatically regenerates the roof with a gable.
- Automatic Step Down
Foundations – Easy change full concrete walls into stepped down foundation
walls with a simple right click. SolidBuilder allows you to specify the
number of steps and the step heights. After specifying this information,
SolidBuilder regenerates the wall as a stepped down wall.
- Deck Builder – SolidBuilder now includes a Deck Builder. Simply specify the distance from
the deck floor to the finish grade. SolidBuilder generates a deck, posts,
railing, and stairs that you can resize and position as needed.
- Dormer
Builder – Drawing a dormer in SolidBuilder is a snap. Simply specify the
dormer width, roof style, and number of widows. SolidBuilder then allows
you to drag and drop the dormer of the desired roof. SolidBuilder generates
the entire dormer for you.
- Greek Returns – Insert Greek Returns on your
gable overhangs with a few clicks. Choose between partial or full Greek
Returns to dress up your design elevations in a matter of seconds.
- Bay
Bump-out Builder – Easily add bay bump-outs to your design with the
automatic Bay Builder. SolidBuilder automatically constructs the walls,
floors, and roofs of the Bay for you.
- Quick Roof plan – SolidBuilder
generates a quick roof plan off your model. This feature is a quick way to
view the bird’s eye view of the roof as well as each roof sections slope.
- Quick Section – SolidBuilder is capable of generating a quick section
drawing of your model by simply specify the cut line. This feature is ideal
for saving time on preliminary drawings.
- 2D Options on the Fly – Quickly
build your Block Options library by adding Block Options on the fly. You
can now create new blocks from existing linework utilizing right click
intelligence.
- Concrete Walls to Walk-Out Walls – Quickly change any
concrete foundation walls into full framed walk-out walls with the right
click intelligence. Once specified, SolidBuilder automatically generates a
full framed wall with a frost wall and footer.
- 2D Hotkeys – Now
utilize
hotkeys for the more commonly used 2D functions such as linework and
dimensions. Speed up your working drawing time utilizing these hotkeys.
- Trim Multiple – Easily trim multiple lines in a working drawing with the
right click intelligence. Simply select the lines you wish to trim, and
launch the trim command from the right click menu.
- Extend Multiple – Now
easily extend multiple lines in a working drawing with the right click
intelligence. Simply select the lines you wish to trim, and then launch the
trim command from the right click menu. No more extending lines one at a
time.
- Modify 2D Symbols – SolidBuilder now allows you to modify 2D symbols
with the right click intelligence. Whether you are moving, copying, or
deleting a symbol, you will be doing if faster with the right click
intelligence.
- Slide Dimensions – Easily create a clean blueprint with
enhanced dimension placement. You can quickly change the dimension location
by launching the command from the right click menu.
- Move dimensions – SolidBuilder now allows you to move dimensions on a blueprint. Simply
choose Move Dimension from the right click menu and move the dimension to
the desired location.
- Copy Notes – SolidBuilder now allows you to copy
notes within a working drawing. Simply copy the desired note using the
right click intelligence.
- Rotate Symbol – SolidBuilder has changed how
symbols are rotated. No need to specify pivot point and degrees. Simply
choose to rotate the symbol from the right click menu, and then use your
arrow keys to reach the desired orientation.
- Linework Grip – Easily change
the length and/or shape of linework with grips. Simply grab the desired
grip and drag the linework into the desired length or shape.
- Copy
Dimension – Easily copy a dimension within a working drawing by utilizing
the right click intelligence. Simply right click on a desired dimension and
copy it with the plan.
- Move Note – Easily change the location of the note
using right click intelligence. SolidBuilder has enhanced the way a note
placement can be modified and is now accessible from the right click menu.
- Drag & Drop Text – Easily move text within your Working Drawing by
gripping the text and dragging it to your desired location.
- Drag & Drop
Symbols – Need to move a symbol? No problem. Simply grab the symbol and
move it to the desired location.
- Drag & Drop Linework – Move linework
within your Working Drawing with drag & drop. Simply grab the desired
linework and drag it to the desired location.
- Select Multiple Objects –
Tired of selecting one object at a time? Now simply select one of the many
objects, then right click and choose Select All. SolidBuilder automatically
scans your drawing and selects all of the desired items.
