- Next and
Previous buttons added to the Item Database - Easily switch from
item to item viewing the properties of each by clicking these buttons.
The feature eliminates the need to close out of each item and then click

- Ability to copy Equations and
Proposals - Save time setting up Equations and Proposals with the
ability to copy each. Create twice the number of Equations and
Proposals while only doing half the work previously required.
- Ability to assign a supplier
and their pricing in an estimate - The feature allows you to build an
estimate, and then worry about pricing later. After your estimate is
complete, simply go back and specify which supplier and pricing you wish to use.
- Report Templates with
Company/ Header information - Easily create report templates with
your company information and logos for
future use. This feature makes printing reports even faster and gives
each report a customized and professional look in a few seconds.
- Insert individual line items
from your estimate into a proposal - Easily insert estimate
information into your proposal. This feature combines the information
in reports with the features of the Proposal Writer, allowing you to show
item descriptions and costs in your proposals.
- Ability to change a Takeoff
Number - Customize the look of your estimate with the ability to
change the Takeoff Number. This feature is ideal when you forgot and
item, and then add it to the bottom of the estimate. Now simply change
that item's number and BidBuilder will move the item with others like it.
- Added "Red Flag" option -
Eliminate mistakes and overlooked items with the Red Flag feature. If
there are any items you need to pay special attention to, simply Red Flag
the item to eliminate overlooking it. Ideal for material with frequent
price changes.
- Database Assistant -
Quickly and Easily build your database with the Database Assistant. By
answering prompts from BidBuilder, BidBuilder will automatically build your
database for you. A true time saver when setting up the initial
database.
- Next and Previous buttons
added to the Item Properties in an estimate - Quickly view the item
properties of each item in your estimate with these buttons. By
clicking Next or Previous, BidBuilder will open the next (or previous) item
in your estimate. A key feature for any last minute checks on your
estimate.

Subdivisions, Divisions, and Assemblies - Quickly build a database
with the ability to copy items, subdivisions, divisions, and assemblies.
This feature copies all selected items, subdivisions, divisions, and
assemblies as well as all properties associated with those items.

Division, Subdivision, and Assembly totals from your estimate into a
proposal - Easily insert group totals from your estimate into your
proposals. This is an ideal feature when you want to display the cost
for each phase or section of the project in your proposal to the client.

- Now assign up to 5 additional markups. Each markup name is
user definable.
- Added Hotkeys -
Speed up your estimating time by using hotkeys on your keyboard to execute
certain commands. The hotkeys are similar to clicking on a button, but
faster.

BidBuilder now offers more fields of information to export top
Excel. This feature allows you to customize what information you wish
to take into Excel. An ideal feature for exporting your estimate to
other programs.
- 5 Individual Markups -
Now assign up to 5 individual markups. Any of the 5 costs can be marked up
individually, separate from all the standard estimate markups.
- One database can hold 5
different suppliers pricing - You can now hold up to 5 different
suppliers pricing in one database. Then simply choose the desired
supplier you wish to use for the current estimate. This will eliminate
the need to manage multiple databases.
- Ability to add an Item "on
the fly" - Quickly show custom items in your estimate by adding
items on the fly. The feature wills save you time by eliminating the
need to add an item to the database before it can be added to an estimate.
- Find Feature -
Quickly find a desired item or assembly in your database with this "Find"
feature. Simply type in a keyword and BidBuilder will scan your
database for matching items and assemblies.
- Ability to print and show
markups individually in a report - Customize your reports to show
the markups you wish to include. This feature allows you to control
which markups are visible to your clients.
- Context Sensitive Video Help
- BidBuilder's help videos are now strategically and conveniently
located inside their appropriate areas throughout the program in addition to
the Help menu.
- Import/Export SolidBuilder
Database - Get the most out of both BidBuilder and SolidBuilder by
sharing databases. You will get twice the output and twice the
accuracy with only half the work because you only need to manage one
database.

Phases, Locations, Cost Chart, Contracts, and Equations - Next &
Previous buttons have been added throughout BidBuilder, eliminating multiple
clicks. These simple buttons will save hours of work when setting up
the initial database.

report - Easily change the desired information on custom reports.
With this feature, there is no need to have a large library or reports,
simply adjust an existing report and print the information you wish.
- Added SKU number -
This feature simply allows you to be more organized by tagging a suppliers
SKU number to an item.
- Ability to modify multiple
Item Properties with a right click - Easily manage your database
with the ability to modify multiple items at once. Simply select the
desired items, and then with the right click, change any of the item
properties in one step. No longer a need to do this type of modifying
individually.
- New Proposal Templates -
Eliminate the time spent creating proposals by using one of the proposal
templates. Simply customize the template by adding your company and
customer information.
- Test feature for Items and
Assemblies - Increase the accuracy of your estimate with the test
feature. This allows you to test your items and assemblies before
saving them into the database. This will also save time by decreasing
user adjustments.

Easily create HTML reports that can be posted/ shared with your clients or

Miscellaneous Properties with the right click - Quickly adjust

There is no longer a need to save your modified reports in MS Word, simply
make the changes in BidBuilder and save them for future use.
